In the past few weeks I've had an excuse to try new beers been able to celebrate Oktoberfest in Addison and Dallas. First, Husband and I met the Johnson's at Oktoberfest in Addison, then, a week or so later, we went with Cousin to Pizza Lounge which had a delicious Oktoberfest menu.
Pizza Lounge is across the street from Fair Park. This is something you should keep in mind if you're going to the State Fair this year. Their menu has twenty or so inventive pizzas, and it would be hard to pick a mediocre one out. Thanks for the suggestion, Cousin!
Last week we went to Gordon Biersch, and sampled items from their Oktoberfest menu. (This seems to be a trend.) We had pretzels with mustard along with our beers. Well, my beer and Husband's mammoth beer.
