I spent the day at the Center for Community Cooperation with my Executive Director, CFO, Development Director and Admissions Director talking about our social venture. I'm apart of the team that is creating a business plan for this venture. It's a year-long process, so it's going to take a while to complete. We began the venture at the end of January, so do the math. I'm glad to be a part of it because it will give me a ton of business & social venture experience. Our venture involves providing sufficeint and stable transitional living for our clients, and then ultimately, a more affluent population at a second location.
Anyway, so I've been immersed in that all day long. Tonight my plan is to make a great dinner (i'm thinking spiced pork with a orange glaze) and then start packing for this weekend. We're going to Lubbock for the Alumni Weekend for Alpha Phi Omega. Great times are ahead. I've found the camera, so I will be taking a ton of pictures this weekend. Really, this time.
I'm off to pack!
