Top Recipe Posts

Over the past year or so I've posted recipes that you readers loved. So why not remember the good times?
Here's a collection of the highest-viewed recipe posts from {A Dash of Spectacular}:

Boozy Cranberry Sauce. One of the most-viewed recipes that's not only beautiful, but so yummy, all year-round.

Kielbasa & Caramelized Onion Quesadilla. A recipe idea born from a grocery-store challenge. A delicious idea.

The Peach-Ginger-Hit Cocktail. Yes, she's a winner. Really.

Mexican Chocolate Pound Cake. One of my personal favorites for a summer dessert with tropical or spicy cocktails.

Pasta Primavera. Farmer's market bounty or CSA box got you rushing to the recipe box for ideas? Try this. Done.

Lemon-Lime Tea Cakes. This is what you make when you have WAY too many lemons. Then make some iced tea to accompany.

Mexican Potato Nachos. Y'all, these are PERFECT for munching on while watching the game. Grab a Mexican beer and you're set.

Big Old Oatmeal Cookies. Courtesy of Chris Fennimore and Rick Sebak. Caution, make them small!

Banana Surprise Muffins. Also known as SWAK muffins.

Soy and Ginger Glazed Chicken with Baked Crab Rangoons. Two fantastic recipes in one post!? Pure love.

Popovers. The favorite brunch food in the {ADOS} household. Not a month goes by that I don't make these at least twice on the weekend.

Pick one and enjoy!

  1. I am constantly amazed by people who have not made/had cranberry sauce from scratch (with or without the booze). That stuff is so darn easy, and soooo tasty!

  2. It's super versatile, too! I use it in place of jam to make my brunch more festive.
I'm sure knowing how to make it has something to do with how you're raised - I didn't really every have the real stuff except for at my Grandma's house over the holidays. At my Granny's house we typically had the canned stuff {if anything cranberry at all}, so I have a love and appreciation for that, too! :)
