At the end of February, Husband and some friends of ours {Vanna!} went to see a throwback of ours - the Eli Young Band! Back in college, we were all huge fans. I remember going to one of their concerts my freshman year with my good friend Kendra {her blog is Life with the Langes}, wearing an American Eagle white eyelet camisole with jeans and boots. We giggled and sang along with each song, and even taking photos with our crush, lead singer Mike Eli. {Swoon.}
For this concert, I wanted to wear something that was a throwback, too. This gathered cotton dress paired with boots screams West Texas concert to me.
Also, on a side note, this was my last day at my temp job. Thus, I didn't care I was THAT GIRL in the bathroom, taking pictures and doing my eyeliner. Also, soon after I stepped outside and felt the chill in the air that had replaced the nice 60-degree weather, I added light grey tights to the ensemble.

Such a fun concert! The venue was totally honky tonk, and if another country act close to my heart visits, I'll be there!
This looks like a really fun night! I love that necklace from Modcloth, it's been featured in a lot of magazines as a Spring must-have! Love how it looks with your dress :)
ReplyDeleteThat necklace was on my Amazon wish list for a long time, and my Husband finally took notice. :) I wear it way too often!
DeleteLove the outfit! The boots definitely give it that Texas flair!
